Saturday, April 18,2009... Full Speed Ahead Spin-A-Thon

Dear Friends,

Thank you for your continued support over the past year. It is with your generosity that I am able to push the boundaries of what we know is possible. I embrace the fact that I have given my body to science and together we are Stem Cell Pioneers. I must continue on Full Speed Ahead.

My 10th Anniversary and Moving On.

I cry to let go of the past and what was, I cry at the realization of what is and the endless possibilities. Embracing the dark places, the struggle, I feed from the energy. Heal it with love, light and breath. Use it to build upon, to grow from. Our path is our own, we have no choice. But to surrender to what is, and then just be.

Leah For Charity

February 13th, marks the 10th year I've been in my paralyzed body. It's time to celebrate life, a time to reflect, a time to be proud... It's a difficult week for me. The truth is all kinds of emotions manifest inside my body, I felt a little out of control and super tired. By Saturday night it was hard to pick up my legs and I was in bed by 8:30PM, the day was done.

A little update...

A little update...

It has been 2 months since returning from my last stem cell treatment in India. I'm proud to say that my body is changing! I'm gaining strength and range of motion in muscles I could not will to move, as I continue to work on stability and balance in my stance. The power of human embryonic stem cells and my hard work continues to amaze me. The possibilities are endless as I push on day in and day out with activities like yoga, physical therapy, pilates, acupuncture, biofeedback, spinning and of course skiing.

I do have plans to return to India for another treatment....just no set date.

Keep smiling, keep pushing!

My Best,

-Leah
